Statement and conviction

If you take on the role of a researcher, then, in addition to the important objects already listed, the following will help:

The object familiar to us, "statement", --- previously we did not pay much attention to this type of description, but now we will, because we need to break down what agents think and say about the world into separate pieces. We already know from the history of epistemic statuses of statements that statements may be absent from an agent's worldview due to the absence of key objects they are referring to, or for other reasons.

Belief --- a statement equipped with an epistemic status. Usually, when it is said that an agent holds a certain belief, it means that they consider the statement to be true. We strive for greater variability and precision in epistemic statuses, so we will not use "belief" often and will instead talk about statements and confidence in them.
